TN State Treasury Representative… Overview of the State 401K plan. General information / changes. Write down questions/concerns. Will be on-campus all day tomorrow, Friday, March 20, to consult with you individually or small group.

Instructional Coach information… ELA & Math Benchmarks3: TCAP Practice Test 2 (Version B) Purple ‘Cut Score’ sheets GradeCam scored – use ‘Cut Scores’ to determine ‘projected’ levels. Utilize SPI Correlation to drive instruction for TCAP preparation. Refer to Frameworks for % of each Reporting Category. *Science, also. Handout Test Taking Tips

IC information continued… TCAP Enrichment: List of ‘pulled’ students from CORE ELA, Math, Science. CORE will receive Attendance sheets. Related Arts will receive spreadsheets electronically with all ‘pulled’ students listed. -12 days of Enrichment hours of ‘push’! *Tues, *Wed, *Thurs. – March 31- April 23. Have your two April PLCs at your convenience.

TCAP Enrichment benefits… Spring 2014 – 237 OMS students ‘enriched’. 103 Proficient/Advanced on TCAP for their enriched subject. 43% raised score. By subject: ELA – 20% Sci – 21% Math – 25% SocSt – 33%. By grade: 7 th grade = 49% 8 th grade = 46% 6 th grade = 38%.

Social Studies Field Test Begin after TCAP testing. 120 minutes computer time per student. Part 1 = 90 minutes. Part 2 = 30 minutes. Both Social Studies & Science teachers will administer test. * Utilize all hardwired labs & Portable Labs. Schedule VERY SIMILAR to Writing Assessment— 9 consecutive days of testing / 3 each per grade level. Testing block each morning. Tentative-April 30-May 12.

Universal Screener- RTI Mandate Begin AFTER SocSt Field Test completed. STAR Testing (Renaissance Learning) – ELA & Math. 20 minutes +/- per screener. DATA used for identifying Tier 2 & 3 students. Identifies deficit areas for Tier intervention. T.2=Bottom 25 th %ile. T.3=Bottom 10 th %ile. Once data compiled- teacher input on the ‘target’ lists of students. (*May 22 &/or 26).

Related Arts classes Awards. Be expecting specific information about these awards around TCAP Week…

6 th grade Lab opportunities. 11:30-1:30 OPEN every day in April up to TCAP. Keyboarding Lab (32). King/Brownlee Lab (26). ELA priority. (*SIP plan.) April 1, 8, 13, 16, 21-Arabians April 2, 9, 14, 17, 22- Stallions April 7, 10, 15, 20, 23-Chargers/Palominos *Trade/switch if needed. Split time. Math/Sci/SocSt may use also.
