Importance of your job. There may be good teachers at a school, but for it to be a good school, it needs a good principal. Teachers will often change campuses to work with a particular principal. There is a reason that you are in this position.

In fact, I applaud you for being at CAMT 

I’ve seen principals do some creative scheduling to make these things happen for teachers. 

Ways to maximize 

Engaged students, connectedness, formative assessment, alignment with standards, relationship with students…

a a So, in that respect, all of us want students to commit to outworking teachers regardless of the content area.

One thing to LOOK FOR is balance. PROFICIENCY
