Special News from Authors’ Celebration – June 2, 2016

We Are All Authors! As a follow up to our very special Author Visit in April, we thought it would be really exciting to become authors ourselves.

In our writing classes, each student composed an original piece of poetry, and illustrated it. After that, our original poems and illustrations were published in our own book, entitled...

On Thursday, June 2 nd, our books arrived, and we celebrated together as we distributed the books.

What a special day it was! We each got to read all of our friends’ poems, and to enjoy their writing and illustrating.

We hope that the books serve as a wonderful keepsake of our Banyan friends, and we look forward to making book publishing an annual event!

We Can All Be Authors!
