New Zealand New Zealand - is the most environmentally friendly country on the planet, the edge of the green hills and the wonder-bird Kiwi. Country where warmer in the north than in the south.

New Zealand New Zealand is located in the south-western Pacific Ocean on large islands (North and South), separated by the Cook Strait. It is completely surrounded on all sides by water expanses and has land borders with other countries. In addition to the major islands of New Zealand covers the still large number of small (about 700), most of which are uninhabited.

Relief of New Zealand Relief of New Zealand is mostly hills and mountains. More than 75% of the country lies at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level. Coastal areas of the North Island presents spacious valleys.

New Zealand's climate New Zealand's climate varies from warm subtropical to cool temperate; in mountainous areas is dominated by a harsh alpine climate. West Coast of the South Island - the wettest part of the country; eastern part - the driest.
