Literacy Skills Read! Read! Read! Sing nursery rhymes and children's songs Use letters around the house. Talk about letters and words in their environment

Math Skills Count Everything! (pennies, cereal, etc.) Practice counting to 5 using 1 to 1 correspondence. Increase the counting as they master each set of numbers Point out and make patterns!

Math Skills (Cont.) Practice sequence of events and order (First, second, third; morning, afternoon, night) Search and find numbers in their environment

Fine Motor Skills Cutting Hole Punch Play Dough Tracing Write, Color, and Draw!
