Overview than the unit Cooling system Components Operation Maintenance Troubleshooting Default PCA UNIT : Presentation

–Open a cargo or passenger door of the aircraft before connecting the air delivery hose and/or starting the unit. –Position the unit near the aircraft so that the air delivery hose will reach the aircraft air inlet without becoming kinked or twisted. A kinked air delivery hose will retard the airflow and in extreme cases, may cause freezing of the evaporator coil and stop the unit (high air pressure switch). –Engage parking brake by raising the brake lever on the front of the unit until it locks into place. –Connect the air delivery hose securely to the aircraft air inlet. Ensure that the hose is securely fastened and will not become disconnected when air pressure is applied. 1. Set up of the unit

–Turn engine “Stop/Start” switch to the "Start" position (1). –When the engine starts, the main green lamp "Engine under operation" will turn on (2). –Select operating mode: turn operating mode switch to “Cooling” or “Ventilation” (3). –Push on the "Unit start/Stop" button to start the selected operating mode (4). –The unit will operate automatically. The green lamp of the "Unit start/Stop" button will turn on as soon as the operating mode is activated (5). 1. Set up of the unit 2. Starting the unit

–Push off the "Unit start/Stop" button to stop the selected operating mode. The green lamp of the "Unit start/Stop" button will turn on as soon as the operating mode is deactivated. –When the ventilation fan is off, disconnect the air delivery hose(s) from the aircraft. 1. Set up of the unit 2. Starting the unit 3. Stopping the operating mode without witching off the unit

–Stop diesel engine: Turn engine “Stop/Start” switch to the "Stop" position. –When the ventilation fan is off, disconnect the air delivery hose(s) from the aircraft. –After a certain time (depending on the selected mode), the engine will turn off automatically and the green lamp "Engine under operation" will turn off. 1. Set up of the unit 2. Starting the unit 3. Stopping the operating mode without witching off the unit 4. Stopping the unit with complete switch off
