LUKE ACTS written:- BY Paul’s travelling physician (Colossians 4:14) IN the hardest best Greek in the Bible INCLUDING lots we otherwise wouldn’t know TO “Lover of God”

Why read him? (1) “IT’S FOR REAL” “those who saw” (1:2) “carefully studied” (1:3) “that you may know” (1:4) “you are witnesses of these things” (24:48) “not done in a corner” (Acts 26:26)

Why read him? (2) YOUR Saviour (2:11) … whether you’re excluded by your job (ch.2) race (ch.4,10,17, ACTS!) gender (ch.8,10) or past conduct (15,23)

Why read him? (3) True Riches The rich fool (ch.12) A rich man is saved (ch.19) The early church & money (Acts 2,4,5,6,11…) The rich man and Lazarus (ch.16)

Why read him? (4) “It’s Christianity – but (maybe) not as we know it” …but love, joy, power Early Church: not perfect! Fights, failures…
