Summative Prompt How is theme x developed through character and conflict in Othello and Of Mice and Men? ▫Copy the prompt on the bottom of your yellow planning sheet. ▫You will need 6 pieces of quoted evidence. Your claim should include: ▫Both titles and authors  Othello by William Shakespeare  Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck ▫The theme that you choose ▫Which characters you are comparing (reason #1) ▫Which conflict you are comparing (reason #2)

Planning Sheet: Body Paragraphs Your plan must be finished today. ▫You may add as many body paragraphs as you want on lined paper that you staple to the planning sheet, but you need 6 pieces of evidence.
