Pre-Visualisation Concepts Early stages of design work
Inspiration Everything that you have looked at to form your idea Relevant images, videos, games, etc.
Research Similar to inspiration, but its everything you looked at once you conceptualised your initial idea. Example: 1950’s game Clothing of that year? Cars of that year? Characters of that year? Etc.
Development Once you have your idea/s you need to develop different scenario’s, locations, era’s, etc. Example: Racing game Futuristic, Historic, Present day? European, American, Asian etc.
Tests If you are proposing to create the next Forza Horizon’s then I expect to see some form of evidence that this can be achieved. Such as: Images Videos Renders Models Animatics Etc.
Production Schedule This is where you will summarise what you hope to achieve and by what dates Tip: Use Microsoft Excel or Project to create this
Production Costs This is where you will talk about how much you feel the production will cost. You can break it down by using and not limiting yourself to the following headings: Software Hardware Wages Stock footage (you won’t actually use in your assignment) Development kits Etc.
Finally…. Your pitch should last at least 10 minutes Include videos and images if necessary Don’t forget to Research! Stylize your slides to match your idea Make it look nice
