WHAT OUR APP DOES? Allows easy communcation across large work sites. Allows danger zones to be specified and prevents workers from entering. Safety and evactuation zones can be specified, so that workers know where to congruate in the event of an emergency. In the event of an emergency, the site manager, local first aiders and emergency services can be notified of the situation as well as the location.

HOW IT WORKS GPS will track each worker’s position, through the CAT phones and update the maps automatically. An eternal database system will be used to store the user profile data as well as GPS tracking logs.

WHAT PROBLEM IT SOLVES Finding where dangerous pieces of kit are. Handling emergencies is easier and quicker. It logs worker’s GPS activity throughout each day, thus reducing the costs of insurance.

MARKETING Directing marketing efforts toward insurance companies and unions. Insurance companies will be less likely to have a payout if they are protecting the workers that they insure. Their enquiries will be cheaper, as they will be able to track where people were and how the accident happened. Unions will be able protect their workers and allow complaints to be dealt with faster.
