Interesting Facts This species is hunted illegally for their Gall Bladders Males may socially exclude females They are most active at night Known as the moon bear Attack more humans than other bears

They occupy a large variety of forest habitats Breeds in June at least at age 4-5 and have 1-4 cubs Biotic Factors: humans, trees, small animals, plants Abiotic Factors: soil, oxygen, water, temperature, sun light

Predator/Prey relationship: Predator of small animals prey of humans 1 st and 2 nd level consumer Eats hard mast, beech nuts, acorns walnuts, chestnuts, and fruit

Threats and adaptations Logging, roads, buildings, and hunting Limiting factor: Shrinking habitat About 28,000 Asiatic bears during the present Reproductive adaptations and phisical/ mental adaptations.
