Builders clubs is available to middle school students. They are 46,000+ members strong.

Kiwanis International is a service organization set out to serve children of the world. It was established in 1915 and is currently located in 80 countries. Together as the Kiwanis Family we strive to serve in our community and the world.

Everything we can accomplish depends on the members. Serving the members of the chapter are the board of officers. President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Editor/Historian A duty of an officer is to always promote the three tenents of CKI and serve the members.

Each divisions has a Lieutenant Governor (LTGs for short) heading the division. Each LTG is elected at their respective Spring Rally Elections.

Abbreviations 10. Misc Every year the district board comes together and decides on a project that the district will strive to complete. This year is a goal of 5,000$ for the Eliminate project. This is also meant to be 1,000 per division. The Eliminate Projects is to help third world countries eliminate the Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus virus. 60+ million has be raised so far. 24 countries remain with MNT

It varies from the district project because it’s just one person choosing rather than a whole board. This years Gov Pro is Better World Books. BWB is out to give books to the poor and raise the literacy rate. It also takes donations for the same effort. The goals is to perform two book drives as a club.

Abbreviations 10. Misc DCON, District Convention, is a time at the end of the school year were we come together as a district to celebrate the end of the CKI year. We also vote on the new district staff and changes to the bylaws. It a more professional event with forums and general sessions available to the attendees to better their skills. Fall Retreat, This is more of a fun event rather than the professional DCON. Everybody from the district comes together to have fun and meet each other.

It uses the E6 framework to give attendees a way to better themselves and the world around them. It teaches that the best leadership is servant leadership. It happens typically at the end of June. Last years dates were July 27 th – August 1 st. It requires a application to attend but anyone is allowed to apply to attend. The location stays the same every year and it is located at the Waycross camp in Indianapolis IN.
