The faith God is looking for is not our faith in what we do or what we know or in a principle or a process. Our faith is to be in a person. We can say we have faith but that faith is misdirected into something that we are doing

The difference can be seen in these two statements: I, God, will do for you if you do for me. Trust me and do... Whereas: I God will do for you, trust me.

What is Faith? 6. It is not only important to know BY faith it is also important to know WHY faith. Faith puts God’s sufficiency and power to the test in Spiritual warfare. Our works do not do that, our works only test ourselves whereas Grace and faith puts God to the test and He is glorified.

What is Faith? 7. Faith is the means whereby we receive and ar benefited by what God alone can do. This starts at the Cross and continues in the Spirit filled life with its blessings in life and all the joy of this life. All is received on the basis of faith that it might be in accordance with grace.
