Directions: In your group, please READ each primary source document ONE AT A TIME. Read them OUT LOUD. Go around your team so everyone reads out loud in order. For each document, DISCUSS each question on the document AS A GROUP and ANSWER the questions in complete sentences on a separate piece of paper. EACH PERSON MUST WRITE DOWN ANSWERS to the questions on their own paper and in their own words, even if you figure out the answer together.

Directions: Once you have read all the documents and answered each question, your group is to prepare an ILLUSTRATED CHILDREN’S STORYBOOK. I will give your team ONE of the events to make into a Book Page. You will make ONE book page and share it with the class as part of our class book.

Illustrated Book Task: Your group is to prepare One Page of an ILLUSTRATED CHILDREN’S STORYBOOK that describes the major events of the French Revolution. It should be written and designed in a way that a 10-year-old could read and enjoy it.

STORYBOOK PAGE EVALUATION CRITERIA Storybook Page and presentation demonstrates clear understanding of the KEY EVENTS explained in your French Rev Event. Storybook Page must contain a creative title, an illustration of the key event, thought or voice bubbles (that show Point Of View) coming from characters, and a brief explanation of each key event Every group member must speak during the presentation Each person in the group chooses a color job to do. Groups of 3 split the Red Job.

Page Presentations! Speak about the color job you were in charge of! Everyone must speak!

Storybook Pages… Now each group will present their storybook page. We will go in order! Remember- everyone needs to talk!
