What is your favourite book? When her book is written she finds it hard to decide which is her favourite but she said the best one is the one she is working on in her head. Jeannie Baker does not even know herself what the book will be called yet. This happens every time she makes a book. By Tamzin and Cameron

Why did you decide to become an Author? We think that because Jeannie Baker’s brother Alan illustrated children books so maybe she wanted to become a illustrator the same as him. Then after that she became an author. Oliver and Sophia

Why do you use collages? Jeannie Baker didn’t know any other way of achieving the same results that collage can give her. She’s always loved texture and started as a painter trying to reproduce texture using paint. Then she thought, why not use the actual texture and that is what she does now. By Ben and Amy H
