Training module – 2 : Five – Day Programme : “Small Animal Management and Social Mobilisation” for Para-veterinarians- Planned for 800 Nos. Exposure Visit: Exposure Visit of Veterinary Doctors and Paraveterinarians out-side the State to see best practices and research ToT- 20 Trainers for training of veterinarans 60 Trainers for the training of Para Veterinarians

Journey Ahead in We propose to saturate the training in 17 districts by covering the left over 300 veterinarians and 500 para veterinarians. Additional fund requirement would be to the tune of Rs. 30 lakh. There is also a thinking to extend it to the Fishery Sector which is one potential area of livelihood in the State. A concrete view on this will be taken up in the 3 rd Core Group meeting in the 3 rd week of January,2012.
