Step 1 Please open the Mail Merge Word Document file I sent you Please also open the Attendance feeds that Jennifer Young sends you twice a week.
In Excel, view your ADA document
You will notice that only your students show, keep other SVTs hidden
Click on row 1, column A
Scroll all the way to the right, hold shift, Click on row 1, column BL
Scroll all the way down, click on the last box on the bottom right
Right click, “Copy” and Open a new document
Right click, “Paste” in new document
Click Save and name the file
Go back to where we left off in Word
You will now be viewing my document
Go to “Mailings” at the top of Word
Click on “Start Mail Merge”
Select “Step by Step Mail Merge Wizard”
Go to Step 3 of 6
Under Use Existing List, select “Select a Different list”
Find your ADA file and Click “Open”
Select Sheet 1 and press “OK”
Press OK again
Click “Finish and Merge” at the top
Select “Send Messages”
Select who you want to mail to and write a subject line, press OK
Step to repeat I like to repeat the previous step and send it to: ◦Insight ◦Personal Student ◦If the students are under 18, I also send it to Contact 1 and Contact 2 ◦ You will have to recreate the spreadsheet and make one for under 18 once you have sent to the first two s to Insight and Personal Student . Make sure to delete the students that are over 18 in the rows.
