GERUND It is a mixed part of speech that combines the features of the verb and the noun. It is formed in the same way as Participle I. The spelling rules are the same. How can we differentiate them in the sentence? Only analyzing their functions in the sentence. That’s why it’s very important to learn gerund functions thoroughly!!! Angelika Gorobej.
