Do Now: In your notebooks Universals are ideas that can be believed as true and can be applied to multiple situations and many different people. Aristotle claimed that another value of Mimesis is that it concerns itself with universals and not particulars (science and history concerns itself with particulars). Therefore, what are some universals that can be understood through Oedipus?
