Spotter. The only person on site who communicates with the driver

Reverse camera monitor which automatically turns on when reverse is selected. The unit also has a microphone to hear behind the truck

 When called by weighbridge operator move onto weigh bridge.  Truck will be loaded while on the scales. Stay in cab. Do not use mobile phones etc while loading.  Move off weighbridge and collect delivery docket  Read the docket taking care to ensure that the vehicle mass is correct. If it is not contact weighbridge operator and do not leave plant until the correct weight is achieved.  Enter details into day sheet.  Continue to job site.

 Arrive on site and make positive communication with truck spotter and fill in time on site on delivery docket.  If required to turn around, the spotter will inform where and will safely guided the truck in reverse.  Reverse to buggy or paver ONLY under guidance from spotter.  Once on the machine follow all instructions from spotter.  When finished unloading complete the delivery docket and hand to spotter.  Move away from machine when instructed.  Stop and ensure there is no stones etc caught on the back of the truck that could fall off while returning to the plant.

The truck is waiting for the spotter to guide back onto the machine. It will not move until the spotter says to reverse.

The spotter moves the truck to the machine until the rear axle touches the rollers ont he machine

Once in position the spotter signals to lift the body. He will always be in the same spot while the truck is tipping.

The spotter watches to make sure that the truck stays in contact with the machine and that no material is spilling out onto the truck.
