 1. Perfection cannot be made better, cannot be changed.  God is perfect.  Therefore, God does not change. 3

 Numbers 23:19-20(NIV) 19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?  20 I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it. 5

 James 1:16-18(NIV)  16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created. 16
