How do you learn best? MLOs: Describe different styles of learning. Explain and evaluate the benefits of different types of learning. Create the perfect lesson

Think about… 1. What is learning? 2. Why do we learn?

Task 1 Discuss your ideas about how you learn best. Make sure every member of the group has the opportunity to speak. Produce a mind map to show your group’s discussion. How do your learn best?

An example How do your learn best? Independent work The teacher gives me a challenge. I have to research and investigate in order to complete it.

Presentations Present your group’s findings to the rest of the class. Explain your group’s ideas about how you learn best.

So what is the perfect lesson? Using the ideas from all of the groups you are now going to design your perfect lesson. This plan must include: Examples that would help you learn. Explanations of these choices. Remember, this lesson must be designed to help you learn in the best possible way!
