WELCOME TO OUR READ 180 CLASSROOM We are going to make it happen! We are going to turn things around!

Whole Group Instruction Each day begins with whole group instruction. Topics may include: Vocabulary building Main Idea Details Summarization Anchor Video

Anchor Videos The anchor video gives background on the topic covered in the student rBook.

Student Groups Students then rotate to three different stations – Computer Learning Center Reading Center Teacher Work Center

Student-Teacher Groups In small group instructions, students work on specific reading skills with the teacher.

Computer Learning Station Students will work independently at the Read 180 Computer Station.

Read 180 Classroom Library Students will self-select books from the Read 180 Library.

INDEPENDENT READING Students read self-selected novels daily.
