ADDING AN INSTRUMENT IN CUBASE MUSIC TECH

Right click anywhere in the blank space in the second grey panel on your project screen.

Select Add Instrument Track...

Select the Browse option to look through all the available instruments.

When you open Browse you can see a list of all the available instruments on the right and the instrument Category on the left

For example to find a drum kit first select the Drum&Perc category on the left and the instrument list filters out only drums on the right

Select a drum kit from the instrument list. To hear how it sounds play the piano keyboard. Once you have found one you like click Add Track

Your chosen instrument is now on track 1 ready for you to start composing. To add more instruments just repeat the process again.
