Introduction  Dear teachers and friends. It's my great honor to show my family’s real life in Spring Festival.  I will introduce our whole day of Spring Festival. To let you know the truly life in a traditional Chinese family.

This is my whole family

In the morning All of my family members cleaned the house and be prepared for the new year. We used to buy some new posters to instead old ones. The most useful poster is the word “ 福 ”. It means good luck for whole family in all year’s time. The second most famous poster is one of the 12 symbolic animals which can protect the family members in the whole year.

In the afternoon  Everyone in the home was preparing for the lavish dinner. Mothers were working busily in the kitchen and fathers were celebrate Spring Festival with their friends by SMS.

In the evening  We enjoyed our dinner together with all of our family members.

 Some times we eat out together to celebrate the Spring Festival.

At night  After a wonderful meal and drink. All of Chinese will watch “gala”. Which is the most famous show in China. We also call it the Spring Festival’s show.

What do boys do?  For boys, we would rather play chess because we are against watching gala. It’s too long and super boring for us. I think it was made for my grandmother.

How to celebrate a Spring Festival?  You will need: All of the family members to clean the house in the morning. At least 4 people to help you to cook Chinese food. If your family has more than 10 people. You will be really busy to prepare for it. If you want to celebrate outside. You may eat out. Enjoy your dinner with your family. Buy some fireworks and play with them away from the crowds. Back to your nest and watch Gala until the next morning, the New Year’s day.
