Income tax- money that people earn by working that goes to the government Sales tax- money that you pay when you buy things that goes to the government Amend- to change or add Four Corners of Law- the corners or Broad and Meeting street in Charleston where all four types of law are represented. They include city, county, federal, and religious law. Local government- county and city goverments
