Subject + a predicate ● To write a simple sentence, you need to answer 2 questions. ● 1-Who or What? ● 2- What about it? ● Steve + eats a cake. ● The dog + runs fast. ● John, Victor, Ben and the cat + play outside.

The Subject ● The subject is doing the action or the action is being done to the subject. ● It answers the question Who or What. ● The dog ● Steve ● The door ● Tom, Sam and Paul

The predicate ● It is the action, it is what’s happening in the story. ● It answers the question What about it ● runs fast ● eats the cake ● play outside
