Where is our school?

Our Aims and Visions Burnham Grammar School’s aim is success. We are a caring school and every student is valued as an individual. We also need to fulfil our potential. We also get involved in lots of charity events. We are a specialist Science, Maths and Language College. Our motto is “Diversity, Dynamism, Distinction”. To get to our school you have to pass a test called the 11+. This means that we are a grammar school.

How our day is set up Our school timetable is split up into two weeks with different lessons on each day. The school day starts at 8.40am and finishes at 3.30pm. During this day we have five 1 hour lessons, one break and one lunch. Day starts: 8.40am Morning Registration: 8.40 – 9.00am Lesson 1: 9.05 – 10.05am Lesson 2: – 11.10am BREAKTIME: – 11.30am Lesson 3: 11.35am – 12.35pm Lesson 4: – 1.40pm LUNCHTIME: 1.40 – 2.20pm Afternoon Registration: 2.20 – 2.25pm Lesson 5: 2.30 – 3.30pm END OF THE DAY: 3.30pm
