Check Your Child’s Grades… Q I print out overall grades and post them at the end of each week for students to see. Please check Q a few times a week.

Language Arts Notebook / Journals Must bring Language Arts Notebook Everyday! Language Arts notebook for agenda, journal entries, and lecture notes. They must complete the notes, agenda, and journal entry if returning from an absence. These are checked at the end of each quarter! (100pts)

Outside Reading 300 pages / quarter This quarter, students must complete a reading log each week. They should aim for 120 minutes/week. They are exempt from 120 minutes a week once they pass their book talk of 300 pages. Book talks each quarter See Book Talk Frequently Asked Questions handout
