Under the Auspices of the Philippine Embassy Check the Speaker’s Profile Mr. Alfred F. Geronimo…on Construction Accounting Alfred, an Auditor, is one of the only two Filipinos working at the Central Bank of the UAE. Abu Dhabi has been his home for the past eight years now. A graduate of BS in Accountancy from UE, he holds two professional qualifications, namely, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). As a Filipino Community leader, he is a former President of PICPA Abu Dhabi Chapter and the Achievers Toastmasters Club. He credits his professional success to his strong work ethics and discipline, positive spirit and self-motivating nature and commitment to continued professional development. When not mentoring fellow Toastmasters or spending quality evenings with fellow accountants, he is either reading non-fiction books and biographies; listening to his favourite music; or actually practising his singing skills. He hopes one day to becoming an educator and inspirational speaker to help create better Filipino citizens. Ms. Racquel Eder…on Impromptu speaking Racquel is an active Toastmaster and Past President of the Achievers Toastmasters Club in Abu Dhabi. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with cum laude honors from St. Scholastica’s College Manila. She is CIPD (Certificate in Training Practice) qualified and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She aims to expand her teaching qualification and is due to begin her Cambridge CELTA training this month.
