Last lesson we discussed Shakespeare and his audience. The film won Academy Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Costume Design; it was also nominated for Best Director and Best Picture. Today we will be watching a version of Romeo and Juliet created in 1968 by director Franco Zeffirelli.
