SLAB CLAY TECHNIQUE

Overview of steps Day 1: Intro, planning (brainstorm and thumbnail sketch), adapt (if necessary) and cut out templates Day 2: Roll out full slab, cut all slab pieces, finish design ideas Day 4: Attach walls and base Day 5: Attach roof to house and cut out windows/doors, or carve texture into cake, and add details Day 6: Decorate – Get Creative! AND REFINE!!!!!

Requirements Choose between a house or a piece of cake. Use the template for the correct dimensions. Main structure created using slabs. Structure must be stable! Include details (door, window, roof overhang, chimney, etc.) or (frosting, toppings, decorations…) Carve name on the bottom. Worth 80 points.
