My Service As a service-learning experience I participated in the Blazer Build also known as “Habitat for Humanity”

Service Explanation In the Blazer Build my teammates helped a small group of construction workers build a home. We put up windows, doors, siding on the house, and shingles on the roof.

My Experience After the community service experience I felt like I was a part of someone’s dream. My teammates and I participated in building a home for someone less fortunate.

What I learned During the project there were trained construction workers. They taught us how to build a house.

What I Constructed I put shingles on the roof. I put in windows I cut wood I put up doors

My hours I tallied a total of 15 hours of community service this year I did four hours on the Blazer Build.
