4 Introduction and overview The Export E-Inventory Job was introduced in the Nov release. The purpose of this job is to allow libraries to export their electronic inventory to third parties. Note that this new job is not used for integration with Google scholar. Integration with Google Scholar still uses the “publishing to Google Scholar” job

5 Introduction and overview The Export E-Inventory job is called “Export Electronic Portfolios” It exports active electronic portfolios that are included in the following types of sets: 1. Electronic portfolio 2. Electronic title 3. All titles.

6 Introduction and overview The output format of the export file is based on the institutional_holding.xsd file. This xsd file is also used for Google Scholar. The schema of this xsd file has been updated to include the interface_name element.

11 A Real Live example First we access the list of jobs via Alma menu > Administration > Manage Jobs > Run a Job Then we can filter by “Export” and select “Export Electronic Portfolios”

12 A Real Live example Here we select our set Note also above that the types of sets from which we can choose, as stated previously, are “Electronic Portfolios, Electronic Titles, and All Titles”.
