SCIENCE INQUIRY SOUND, LIGHT AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY

ELECTRICAL ENERGY Did you know: 1.Most forms of electrical energy in objects must be confined by wire when being used. 2.Static electricity occurs when the electrons from one object jump to another object. 3.Lightning is an example of electrical energy found in nature.

LIGHT Did you know: 1.Light travels at a speed of about 300,000 km/s. 2.The speed of light changes when traveling through different objects. 3.Light energy is always moving and can therefore not be stored.

SOUND 1.Sound produces a relatively low level of energy when compared to other forms of energy. 2.Because sound produces such a low level of energy it is not used for electricity. 3.The measurement of sound energy is related to its pressure and intensity.
