Searches –Full text search words, phrases etc –Combined or advanced search based on selection / criteria – themes, countries, language, etc –Review Round 1 TCAs Printing –DPs selected and their contact details –DP Ids

ETCIM Requires to work effectively –Agreed Transnational Partnership roles –A ETCIM Secretary (maybe different to a TCA Secretary) –Accurate contact details on ECDB – for notifications –Effective use of Passwords - Reader and Writer Writer passwords used for creation and validation Allocated by MA / NSS –Validation from the Transnational Partnership (all partners) –Approval from MAs (submission of partner validated TCA with DPA 2 months prior to DPs Action 2 Start date)

Lifecycle of a TCA – ETCIM ETCIM Secretary creates TCA MA to approve or reject DPs to validate (or reject) TCA TCA in force notification sent to Transnational Partners notification sent to MAs notification sent to DPs and MAs notification sent to ECTIM Secretary Do not create a new TCA, if it has been rejected by a MS. Instead create a new version of the TCA.

Points to remember Check ECDB for correct DP/contact details Meet with prospective Transnational Partners Use Reader and Writer passwords as appropriate Print off contact details of Transnational Partners Rejected TCAs should be revised – with only new versions being created ETCIM Secretary is last to validate TCA Notify MA/NSS if TCA activities change

Learning from Round 1 Don’t Panic Agree roles and timeframes Negotiate TCA in advance of ETCIM data entry Use correct Passwords/Cipher Strength Use Copy and Paste facility (Paste into ETCIM) Save regularly ETCIM maybe busy – try quieter periods Let partners know when TCA is ready for validation Enter into early discussions if TCA is rejected
