Project Magdala Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague

 The Czech Republic is a source, destination, and transit country for victims of trafficking  Most common forms of trafficking are forced prostitution, and forced labor  Immigrant, homeless, and impoverished communities are most at risk for a dangerous lifestyle Human Trafficking in Czech Republic 2

 38% of women in the Czech Republic have been abused  42.5% of victims are either partly, or fully dependent on their spouse for financial support  In families experiencing domestic violence, the children are witnesses to the abuse in 95% of cases  40-60% of fathers who abuse their partner, are also abusing their children Domestic Violence in the Czech Republic 3
