CREATING PASSWORD SAFETY By: Kyra Scoby-Hamilton

Things To Avoid When Creating a Password  Don’t use names and dates because the password thief would know your name or date of birth which could be used for identity thief. ( Ex. ElizabethAnderson12/3/90)  Don’t use random symbols, letter, and numbers because you would probably forget the password. (Ex. 2hty4i7d# or Dirn3^nsg)

Things To Use When Creating Password  Use 8 or more characters to build a strong password.  Use a password that u would remember like your favorite song or book. (Ex. Beehive or Big Time Rush)  It would be helpful to add some number or numbers to passwords to make it more difficult to figure them out. ( Ex. Sassyclassy15 or alwayzballin59)

Ways to Remember Password  Study password every night like its notes from a teacher.  Write password down 10 or 15 times then rip the paper up because studies show that writing notes down helps keep them to memory.
