#1 National Recommendation: Key Points (summary): – Continue SA Summits in the future and expand ADD national support for self advocacy- Give access and support for SAs to attend the meetings. Conduct meetings in Saipan, HI, or Guam Conduct ADD visit in either October, March or April. ADD staff will need one week to visit all three islands of CNMI.

#2 National Recommendation: – Visits from ADD officials to the three CNMI islands to explain the importance of self advocacy. Conduct ADD visit in October, March or April. ADD staff will need one week to visit all three islands of CNMI.

#3 National Recommendation: Key Points (summary): – Provide more support to people with disabilities for college preparation and supports while in college. Technical assistance or consultant help on transition to college and supports for students with disabilities in college.

#3 National Recommendation: Key Points (summary): – Send more money - especially seed money for self-advocacy plan. Explore possibility of mini grants of approximately $3,000 to $20,000 to support the implementation of self advocacy state plans.
