The key social work roles in Mental Health Prepare for, and work with individuals with mental disorders, their families, carers, groups and communities 1. to establish collaborative relation and to provide relevant information 2. to assess the needs and circumstances 3. to plan and carry out different intervention and review and evaluate them

The key social work roles in Mental Health 4. To plan and conduct prevention activities for at different levels 5. Advocacy 6. Community work- Lobbying 7. Evaluate and improve services

Objective standards: Preparedness for immediate practice with clients who have mental disorders and disturbances, their families, groups and the community in a variety of situations and environments in order to :  meeting the needs,  problem solving,  overcoming the risks,  capacity building  to strengthen the resilience and  full participation in society

Standards  Standard 1. SW is qualified for competent professional practice to the service users who have mental disorders and conditions, family members, caregivers, and professionals from the mental health profession to establish a cooperative relationship based on ethical principles and values ​​ of social work.  Standard 2. SW is qualified for an adequate holistic or bio-psycho-social assessment of users who have mental disorders and conditions in the context of their family and wider social environment.

Standards  Standard 3. SW is qualified to develop, implement and evaluate a variety of psychosocial interventions with the service user, caregivers and family members  Standard 4. SW is qualified to practice advocacy for and with users with mental disorders and their families with them and for them, in order to exercise the rights and use of resources.

Standards  Standard 5. SW is qualified to assess the needs and resources of the community and the practice of networking in the field of mental health  Standard 6. SW is qualified to engage in the promotion of mental health and preventive activities and the activities of social action.  Standard 7. SW is qualified to work on the development and evaluation and improvement of service and organizations they work in the mental health system.
