We are here

OUR HOMETOWN MONFALCONE Monfalcone is a small town in the North-East of Italy; it’s 30 km from Trieste and 100 km from Venice. It’s got nearly inhabitants. In it you can see the Rocca, which is a sort of fort situated on a hill near the town and it is the symbol of our town “LA ROCCA ”

A BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE Not far from Monfalcone, near the mouth of the river Isonzo, there is a natural reserve

This is the bay of Sistiana, a beautiful seaside resort near our hometown. In this photo you can see it from above the coast.

The isle of Elba is one of the most beautiful Italian islands. Situated near Tuscany in the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is famous for the beautiful, clear and uncontaminated sea, but historically it is important because in 1814 Napoleon Bonaparte was sent to exile just there.

The capital of our country The capital of Italy is Rome. We call it Roma. You may know the famous “Piazza Navona”.

Rome is situated in the middle of the country. It is famous for its history, infact it was the capital of the Roman Empire. One of the most famous squares in Rome is Piazza di Spagna. Colosseum Piazza di Spagna

The History of Rome This is the “ lupa capitolina”, one of the symbols of Rome. According to the legend, she fed the 2 twins Romolo and Remo with her milk. Romolo killed Remo and founded the city of Rome.

Aquileia was founded in 181 A.C by the Romans. It was a military colony. Its basilica was the first building of the Christian cult
