 A IS FOR: Abe  Abe is one of Barry's friends and claims to have an attack dog named Cruz and loses him during the storm.

 B IS FOR: Barry  Barry is one of the main characters and gats separated from his family during the storm and finds Cruz and gets rescued by a girl in a boat.

 C IS FOR: Cleo  Cleo is Barry's sister and while her and her mom were sleeping there was a flood in the house she also loses her brother in the storm.

 D IS FOR : Dad  Barry's dad take him and the rest of the family to the highest point of the house and they eventually have to go on the roof and Barry's dad uses a sludge hammer to break through the roof.
