Mobile Computer Lab Student Training

The Wireless Solution Wireless labs… increase access to existing and emerging technology resources offer the flexibility of bringing a computer lab into your own classroom increase opportunities for instructional, productivity, multimedia, and Internet learning experiences

Student Responsibilities Once issued, the student is responsible for computer until returned to the cart. Never leave the computer unattended. Close the lid when not using the computer.

Stay on task. Save every 5 minutes. Shut down computers properly, before closing laptop screen. Report problems. Student Responsibilities

Starting Follow laptop distribution given by your teacher. Open display – press display latch and open cover Avoid touching screen Press the power switch to start the system. Power Switch Display Latch Username:344-student Password: hello

Using the Cursor Touch pad or track stick is used to move cursor. A set of left and right touch pad/track stick buttons are located below space bar and touch pad. Power Switch Touch Pad Track Stick Touch Pad Buttons (i.e., left & right Mouse buttons)

Using the System Battery life should be monitored. (20% remaining use adapter) Battery Life Indicator

Printing Dell 5200 LaserJet Printer Located in Mrs. Williams’ Computer Lab

Closing File and close all programs. Shut down utilizing the lower left START button on the task bar and then click SHUTDOWN. Remove all pencils, pens, etc. from surface of laptop keyboard area. Follow laptop collection given by your teacher.
