Background MCaN Older People PFPI funding- Older People Experience and Participation Project

Project Aim Our aim is to transform the way we deliver health and care services with and for older people in Lanarkshire. We want our staff to hear the experience of people who use services and to work with them to create a system that empowers older people and their carers. We want to develop staff to listen, inform and enable older people

Main Project Deliverables 1.The development of an approach to communication and engagement that: Shares the needs and experiences of older people, their carers and clinical and care providers in ways that are accessible and promotes shared understanding Develops and articulates, simply and clearly, shared values and commitments Celebrates success and improvement when we get things right. Supports feedback and organisational learning when we could have done things better
