About Washington City, capital of the United States of America. The official name - DC, is an independent territory, not a member of any of the states. The city was founded in 1791 and named in honor of George Washington, the first US president.

WHITE HOUSE The White house is not only official "haven" of all U.S. Presidents, but also magnificent, improbable beauty the building which became sight and a symbol of America. The White house in "heart" of the city of Washington was located.

National Mall National Mall is a long park with monuments and fountains. In the center there is the Washington Monument - a powerful quadrilateral column, in which an elevator: you can rise by an observation deck and investigate streets with low buildings and lovely cafes.
