SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE! BY: DUSTIN HOFFMAN

SECTIONS… WHAT I ALREADY KNEW WHAT I WANT TO KNOW MY STORY MY GROWTH AS A RESEARCHER WORKS CITED

WHAT I ALREADY KNEW… I knew that std’s had multiple ways of getting to someone else. I knew that not all std’s were deadly, but I also knew that some were. I also knew that there were quite a few std’s that were common.

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW… HOW ARE STD’S SPREAD? ARE ANY STD’S TREATABLE? HOW MANY STD’S ARE DEADLY? WHICH STD’S ARE ALREADY IN A BODY? WHAT STD’S ARE MOST COMMON?

MY SEARCH RESULTS… STD’S ARE SPREAD FROM UNPROTECTED INTERCOURSE, OPEN WOUNDS, SHARED NEEDLES, MOTHER->CHILD, SHARED BEDDING, CLOTHES, TOWELS, VAGINAL, ANAL, ORAL CONTACT, AND BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS.

MY SEARCH RESULTS… MANY STD’S ARE TREATABLE WITH AN ANTIBIOTIC, HOWEVER SOME ARE NOT AND CAN BE LIFE THREATENING.

MY SEARCH RESULTS… ALMOST ALL STD’S CAN BE DEADLY IF LEFT UNTREATED.

MY SEARCH RESULTS… THE BACTERIA USED FOR CYSTITIS AND YEAST INFECTIONS ARE ALREADY PRESENT IN WOMEN.

MY SEARCH RESULTS… THE MOST COMMON STD’S ARE PUBIC LICE, NONSPECIFIC URETHRITIS, HIV, AND YEAST INFECTIONS.HIV

MY SEARCH RESULTS… ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO CURE FOR AIDS, SOME MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES ARE FIGHTING AGAINST AIDS!

MY STORY… My research started out good! However after I started to get information power library wouldn’t let me click on links! I was at the library and I found many sources to help me with my project. Now after researching I am doing my PowerPoint.

MY GROWTH AS A RESEARCHER… I HAVE LEARNED THAT CITEING INFORMATION AND MAKING A RESEARCH PAPER IS A LOT MORE DIFFICULT THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS. HOWEVER I HAVE ALSO LEARNED HOW TO CITE INFORMATION BETTER AND HOW TO CORRECTLY RESEARCH FOR A PAPER.
