Aim: Did the middle Ages deserve to be Called the “Dark Ages”? Part Two “We owe to the Middle Ages the two worst inventions of humanity – romantic love and gunpowder.” Do Now: In 2-3 complete sentences, explain the quote above in your own words. Based on the quote, predict what life in the Middle Ages was like. HW: 1. Due Tuesday 2/9, you must write a poem, story, or journal entry, or draw a cartoon about life in the middle Ages. 2. History Fair Project due no later than April 14 th !

Procedure for Today AND Tomorrow Your teachers have assigned you a letter group AND a number station. In a few minutes when your teachers tell you to, you will move all of your stuff to your letter group. When your teachers instruct you to, you will then go to your assigned number station to do your research. Next class (Tuesday) you will report back to your letter group what you have learned. *Some students may be assigned to more than one number station. *ZERO TOLERANCE for copying.
