Basics If it is in blue – it is a link. Click on the blue to explore what is there. Back arrow – takes you back one screen. Forward arrow – because Illuminate loads data, you might get an error. PDFs and Excels are available for many reports and assessments found in Illuminate. Look for the PDF and Excel icons.

The Dashboard – Your home screen
Dashboard Each section is called a widget. You can move them, remove and add them.

Students, Reports, Assessments – Your three tabs Located in the upper right hand corner of your dashboard
Click on Students Two things to look at: Student profile – what information is here for your students? Manage Portal Access – how do you give access to students so they can login to Illuminate for students?
Student Profile You can search at the top or click on a name (it is blue, so the name is a link) Click on a name
Student Profile This contains information on your student. Illuminate saves what you design for the next students you view. Take a few minutes to navigate around.
Click on Reports List Reports will show you all of the reports you have access to. These reports will contain data for your student only. Click on List Reports.
List Reports There are filters at the top. These can be used to limit the reports displayed. You can also type in words in the search bar. Helpful tip: always hit Clear and Search before beginning a new search.
List Reports To open a report, click on the title (in blue). Reports you create will have a pencil icon in the Manage column. Take a few minutes to navigate around.
Click on Assessments This is the tab which allows you to access assessments and create assessments. List Assessments, Create a New Assessment, and Print Answer Sheets
List Assessments The same rules apply for this screen as List Reports – filters are available to find assessments and search bar is available to type in search words.
List Assessments To open an assessment, click on the blue title. Take a few minutes to navigate around.
Create a New Assessment Read through the options Look at an example at the end of the session, if time permits.
