EVAAS Roster Verification Process Spring 2013 New Hanover County Schools

Essential Questions What is EVAAS Roster Verification? Who completes the Roster Verification? When does the Roster Verification process occur? How do I get support?

What is Roster Verification? Roster Verification is a method for teachers (Grades 3- high school) to verify their class rosters. ▫Date rosters were generated: March 22 ▫Authoritative source: NCWISE EVAAS uses the rosters, along with test scores, to generate the ▫Teacher Value-Added reports, and ▫the 6th Standard rating on the Evaluation Dashboard. After teachers verify their rosters, School Administrators and District Administrators will verify the teachers’ rosters for their schools/districts.

When does Roster Verification occur? April April 22- May 17 May 18-May 31June 1-28 Principal Ensures teacher list is correct. Ensures student rosters are correct. *EOG/EOC/CTE/CE Teachers* Verifies rosters. Identifies Instructional Availability. Identifies Percent of Instruction. Verifies rosters.
