Materials for English Class Book : Insight Intermediate Students’ Book You will use this book for 2 years Notebook and pencil case Dictionary - It is important to have access to a dictionary, but you do not have to bring it to class. Occasionally you will have permission to use your cell phone as a resource.

Class Rules 1. Be Prepared – bring all materials and work to every class 2. Work Hard – class participation will be evaluated 3. Be Nice – respect yourself, your classmates, your teacher, and your school

Oral Presentation Alternative tourism

What to do? – In pairs, choose an alternative form of tourism – And sign up with Miss Kim! – Describe how this form is different from traditional tourism – Research about: – Places where you could participate in these kinds of tourism – What kinds of activities are available – What kinds of accommodations they provide – What the food would be like – How much it would cost to participate – Give your opinion (would you like to do this some day?) and state the advantages and disadvantages of this form of tourism – Be very descriptive and detailed with your information – Make a ppt presentation – Include only titles, no text – Include photos and videos from internet (video optional) – Rehearse before presenting – Present to the class
